Statement/ Purpose — The Landscape Committee is chartered by The Villas of Almaden Board of Directors to represent homeowners and to act as their interface with the Board and the management company, Compass Management, for all items concerning The Villas landscape. The Committee reports to the Board regarding the trees, shrubs, lawns, ground cover, etc. within The Villas of Almaden.
The Landscape Committee consists of homeowners who have volunteered to represent each of the nine tracts within The Villas of Almaden.
The Landscape Committee is charged with the following responsibilities as they pertain to landscaping:
- To preserve the aesthetic integrity of the unique atmosphere of the Villas of Almaden.
- To protect assets and enhance property values.
- To protect buildings from fire, structural damage and other safety hazards.
- To monitor retaining walls, hardscape and drainage systems.
- To control costs.
